But if that’s the main FinderPop feature you want, FolderGlance is a good substitute–although it costs a bit more.

Ustream, a service that provides live video streaming across the Internet, has attracted US$20 million in investment from Japan’s Softbank and is planning an expansion into Asia, it said Tuesday.

The investment by Softbank gives the Japanese company a 13.7 percent stake in the company and could be followed by additional cash. Softbank holds options that, if exercised by July 2011, could see its investment reach $75 million, at which time (more…)

If you’re running Windows 7 Release Candidate (RC), the end is near. Starting Feb. 15, people using Windows 7 RC, the free pre-release version of Microsoft’s latest PC operating system, will receive a notification that their trial software is about to expire, according to a post today by Microsoft blogger Brandon LeBlanc on The Windows Blog.

Japan’s Softbank has paid US$20 million for a 13.7 percent stake in Ustream, a company that offers anyone the chance to stream live video across the Internet, and holds options to purchase further shares, it said Tuesday.

The options, if exercised by July 2011, could see Softbank’s investment reach $75 million, at which time it would become the single largest shareholder in the company with a stake of more than 30 percent.
